In recent years Ca' Foscari Alumni has enormously expanded its network to touch through its cafoscarini more than 85 countries around the world. To represent the most conspicuous communities of cafoscarini around the world, territorial chapters have thus been born: Milan, Paris, London, Dublin, Brussels, Dubai, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Tokyo, San Francisco, New York e Switzerland are currently the active chapters. For each, conferences, meeting and networking times aimed at getting to know each other are organized, in constant contact with the Venetian office.
These are the guidelines approved by the Board of Directors to manage the widespread network of contact persons and territorial groups, in Italy and abroad, and to prepare precise regulations on the subject:
- To maintain a link between the University/Association and Alumni residing outside of Venice;
- Representing CFA in its geographical territory;
- Forge links and collaborations with the economic, cultural and institutional fabric of their geographical area.
- To be a point of reference for all Alumni who reside, even temporarily, in the area of expertise;
- To provide assistance and advice, within the limits of its possibilities/competencies to Members who request it;
- Spread and publicize Ca' Foscari Alumni events and projects locally;
- Develop a plan for "recruiting" new Members/volunteers within its target area;
- Search for supporting companies;
- development of a semi-annual program and calendar of initiatives to be submitted in advance for approval to the Ca' Foscari Alumni Board of Directors;
- Organize/manage/complete scheduled events;
- report to the Association at least every 3 months on their work and ongoing projects by sending materials and results to the Association to be published on a page of the web platform dedicated to them;
- Social media presence;
- Be present at at least one of the events organized by the Association (Ca' Foscari Forward or Alumni Day);
- Preparation of an annual report to be brought before the Board of Directors in which to list what has been done and an outline of the program for the following year.
- is appointed by the Board of Directors on the recommendation of the Association Director and must be a Premium Member of the Association;
- will hold office for 1+1 years and may be reappointed at the end of the term;
- Will serve on the Council of Club Presidents;
- may arrange fundraisers among Alumni in its geographical area solely for the purpose of carrying out planned projects or events, as well as with the prior authorization of the Association and obligating itself to communicate the results of the collection.
- each referent/group can enjoy the organizational and communication support of Ca' Foscari Alumni. Specifically, he/she may ask to inform about their initiatives through the Association's communication media;
- each contact person/group will be given the opportunity to use the Ca' Foscari Alumni logo;
- each referent/group will be able to use the Alumni Hall free of charge and Ca' Foscari spaces at subsidized rates.
