Sala degli Alumni

On the main floor of the late Gothic palace that is the symbol of our university, Ca' Foscari dedicates the prized reception hall in front of Barter Hall to Alumni. Renamed Alumni Hall, this space aims to welcome Alumni who would like to use it, making the University's bond with its graduates even closer.

The room is made especially valuable by its ceiling with ancient decorated wooden beams and a rare fragment of a 15th-century floor fresco, a true rarity for the lagoon city; on the walls are six landscapes by Venetian painter Della Zorza. It lends itself particularly well as an elegant venue for meetings and gatherings. Thanks to two elevators, it is fully accessible; it has a video projection system and is covered by the Athenaeum Wi-Fi network.

Free use for Premium, Supporters and Clubs

Premium and Sustaining Members and promoters of Clubs within the Association may request free of charge to have the Hall available for business meetings, reunions or simply a reunion with old university colleagues who would like to benefit from a particularly prestigious location in Venice. We would be happy to welcome you within the context of the palace, and to be of support in logistical and organizational matters.

The room is equipped with a 14-seat meeting table, desk, WiFi connection, TV with VGA connection for presentations, video conferencing equipment.

To reserve the Alumni Room, simply send an email to. alumni@unive.it specifying the day, time, number of people involved, and your intended use of the room; also, making a request for the personal email nome.cognome@alumni.unive.it you will be able to have access to the Hall's reservation calendar and see its availability.
