I PREMI DI CA' FOSCARI ALUMNI

Ca' Foscari Alumni is actively engaged in enhancing the name of the University and its graduates. To do this, one of the main tools are the awards given by the Association to Ca' Foscarini, either newly graduated or already in their careers, who have distinguished themselves for special merits. This section is intended to give visibility to the great excellence among our Alumni to the initiatives of awards established by the Association same.

ABLO D'ORO DEI CAFOSCARINI

With the Ca' Foscari Forward 2014, the Golden Roll of Cafoscarini Lifetime Achievement Awardees was officially born, bringing together all outstanding Alumni honored for a career of professional achievements. Thus, a single medagliere capable of enhancing and giving maximum visibility to the profiles of the winners of the Ca' Foscari Alumnus alla Carriera Award since 1993, which counts great entrepreneurs, managers, academics and intellectuals who have brought prestige to the name of Ca' Foscari in Italy and around the world, has been created.

PREMIO CA' FOSCARI ALUMNUS

The main recognition of the Association is the Premio Ca' Foscari Alumnus, distinguished in two categories: the Lifetime Achievement Alumnus and the Alumnus of the Year, aimed at senior or junior Cafoscarini who have particularly distinguished themselves in the economic, cultural, social and or scientific fields. The Lifetime Achievement Award brings together all the winners of the Cafoscarino of the Year from 1993 to 2010 and then the subsequent winners of the Ca' Foscari Alumnus for Lifetime Achievement Award. The Alumnus of the Year, on the other hand, was sanctioned for the first time in 2012 by telematic vote of the Associates and has now totaled one new one per year. The Premio Ca' Foscari Alumnus was designed by young Venetian artist Stefano Bullo and made by master glassmaker Nicola Moretti with the contribution of the Murano Promovetro Artistic Glass Consortium.

I PREMI DI CA' FOSCARI ALUMNI NEL DETTAGLIO

This is a detailed breakdown of the awards given by the Association:

- Premio Ca' Foscari Alumnus alla Carriera: is intended as a continuation of the Cafoscarino of the Year and occurs by direct award as recognition to a senior profile Alumnus who has a long and successful career behind him or her; the award is traditionally made during Ca' Foscari Forward in November each year.

- Premio Ca' Foscari Alumnus dell'Anno: given by broad participation, free nominations and telematic voting on a shortlist of finalists; the award is intended to recognize a junior profile Alumnus under 40 who has been able to produce outstanding achievements at the beginning of his or her career; the presentation traditionally takes place during the opening ceremony of the Academic Year.

- Honorary Member: the appointment of Honorary Members of the Association, whether Cafoscarini or not is awarded on the occasion of the presence of important guests at the Athenaeum or institutional events.

Awards donated by Ca' Foscari Alumni also include the numerous scholarships established at the behest of of the Cadolfinians, the Association's first internal club, for Ca' Foscari International College.
